Many of you have been writing to us asking whether you should buy this book or not. Of course, as soon as I heard about it, I bought it so that I could come back and report to you…

 

Here is what I thought about "High Performance Affiliate Marketing..."

 

 

Jeremy (the author) is very concise and to the point - something we love here at Affiliate Classroom. What's neat is that, un-like most affiliates, who are satisfied with a 6-figure income, Jeremy pushed (and keeps pushing) past the $1 million mark.

 

That alone is proof that affiliate marketing can be a very solid BUSINESS and not just a "part-time" gig like many treat it.

 


Last year, Jeremy won Commission Junction's Horizon Award for Innovation.

 

 

I sat down with the book Friday evening and read straight through it - it was a very easy read. I can't say that it taught me the world (since I have been an affiliate marketer for so long). HOWEVER, I think this book could be a gem for someone who is new...

 

Some reasons I enjoyed the book and think you will as well:

 

  1. Jeremy keeps it REALLY simple.
     

  2. No major "back-end" motive – He's not trying to get you to buy into his $10,000 coaching package for the "actual" secrets - he pretty much gives it all away.
     

  3. Simple Traffic Generation Solutions That Work - Jeremy doesn't get into crazy "voo doo" traffic techniques. His techniques are fast and simple to understand.

     

Even though I consider myself pretty well acquainted with the affiliate marketing industry, Jeremy actually was able to teach me a couple of quick tricks that have already paid the price of the book and more.

  • A trick on keyword research that was very helpful

  • Landing page template that I love

 

"What parts of the book helped me the most…"


I'll warn you right now, if you consider yourself an affiliate marketing expert, you will most likely skim the book and not read it word for word. STILL, you can get some great nuggets from it.

Actually just one tip on the bottom right corner of page 26 helped pay for the entire book!

 

Other tips that grabbed my attention:

 

  •  Page 24 - He talks about how to use the Google keyword tool (something I never do, but will start now)
     

  • Section 3.3 - Titled "How to generate a massive keyword list" – It was very interesting to see how Jeremy builds his lists and rates his keywords.
     

  • Should you make your keyword plural? - Page 57 Jeremy explains it...
     

  • Page 110 - A trick to getting incoming links - I used to use this and then just forgot (thanks to Jeremy for reminding me).

 

 

There were some other key areas as well, but I don't want to give away all of Jeremy's hard work!

But as you can see, just ONE of those tips easily pays for the book itself, that is why no matter what level of expertise, the books seems well worth the investment.

My favorite part of this guide was that Jeremy actually gives you LIVE example of what he is talking about. It's not just theory!  He shows you the structure of a good landing page.

 

He shows you how to map out your website so it's SEO friendly.

 

He shows you what he means by a "good ad" in Google Adwords.

 

...and much more.

 

My final review is that the book is MOST definitely worth the $49.95 he is charging for it. Even ONE of his many tips alone can help easily cover the cost of the book.
